Meals cooked on the boat
The crew cooks for the night you are on board. Lunch is served after you sail, evening tea comes to the deck, dinner is at the mooring, and breakfast is before checkout. Tell us about a diet, an allergy, or a dish you want skipped when you confirm the date.

How the kitchen works
One cook works from the boat kitchen. The menu above is the usual overnight spread. A busy jetty day can swap a vegetable or the fish if the market is short. We say so before the meal, not after it is plated.
Vegetarian boats drop the fish curry and the fry, and add a second vegetable and a dal. Jain and no-onion requests need a day’s notice so the cook buys separately.
What to tell us before you board
- Vegetarian, egg, or fish
- Spice level, from mild to the usual Kerala heat
- Allergies, especially prawn and peanut
- A child’s meal that is less spicy
- Breakfast time, if checkout is early
- Extra payasam or a birthday request
